Helen Farmer Morrison

Helen Morrison, age 79, of Rachel Lane Lexington, died Wednesday November 12, 2014 at the Hinkle Hospice Home in Lexington. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Friday at Stoner’s Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Rev. Billy Pearson and Rev. Norman “Pete” Morrison officiating services. Burial will follow at the Wafford Family Cemetery in Southmont. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am Friday at the Church. Mrs. Morrison was born April 8, 1935 in Randolph County to Jesse Daniel Farmer and Bessie Allred Farmer. She was a member of The Junior Order United American Mechanics. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Charles Morrison as well as a brother Richard Farmer and a sister Kathryn Sumner. Surviving are three sons; Ronald Morrison and wife JoAnn, Danny Morrison, and Norman “Pete Morrison and wife, Anne all of Lexington; and one daughter Judy Byrd and husband Paul of Wallburg, three sisters; Lois Kime and husband Howard of Climax, Mary Peele of Asheboro; and Zellen Johnson and husband Garland of Franklinville NC; and two grandchildren, Adam Byrd and Rebecca Byrd.
