Henry James Mccraw

Henry James McCraw, age 75 of South NC Highway 150, Linwood passed away Tuesday at his home.  Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 13, 2017 at Christian Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Harvey officiating and burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday.  Henry was born in Guilford County, NC August 22, 1941 to Henry Devone Gaydon and Maxine McCraw Gaydon. He was a retired truck driver with Supply One and attended Christian Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Randall McCoy and a brother Robert Gaydon.  Surviving are his wife, Sharon Dayton McCraw of the home; son, Vince P. McCoy, II (Penny) of High Point; daughters, Mary McCoy Godwin (Daniel) and Sandy McCoy Foster both of Linwood; grandsons, Samuel Lewis McCoy, Nathan Wagner and Brandon Foster; one great-granddaughter, Brooke McCoy; 4 step-grandchildren, Logan, Tabytha, Olivia and Noah; sister, Brenda Lockhart of Lexington; brother, William Gaydon (Sherry) of Spokane, WA; sister-in-law, Cindy Venable of Lexington.
