Henry "Mike" Ernest Davis Jr.

Henry “Mike” Ernest Davis, Jr., 67, of Circle Drive, died Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at Forsyth Medical Center. The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2009, at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel, with Preacher Brian Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. Mr. Davis was born August 1, 1941, in Davidson County, to Henry Ernest Davis Sr. and Irene Moore Davis. He was owner/operator of Davis Pest Control. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby L. Davis. Surviving are his wife, Becky Hull Davis of the home; sons, Michael Damon Davis of Clemmons, and Brian Keith Davis and wife, Sherah, of Asheboro; daughter, Joy Crosby and husband, Robby, of Raleigh; grandchildren, Ellie Crosby, Michael Ryan Davis, Jonathan Davis, Rebekah Davis, Charity Davis, and Timothy Davis; and sisters, Donise Winkler of Jacksonville, Fl, and Betty Jean Young of McCleaney, Fl. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and other times at the home, 519 Circle Drive.
