Henry Mitchum

Henry Cleveland Mitchum, 82, of Lexington, passed away on Wednesday, February 07, 2024 at Lexington Health Care.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, February 12, 2024, at Reeds Baptist Church, with Pastor Jerry Beck officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Family will visit with friends on Sunday, February 11, from 5:00 to 7:00 Pm at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington, NC.

Henry was born July 1, 1941 to Paul and Willie Myers Mitchum in Davidson County.  He was enlisted in the National Guard, and was a retired Federal mediator with the US Department of Justice after 32 years of service.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers; Myers, Paul Jr., Don, Keith, and Mark, and his sister, Loraine M. Lohr.

Left to cherish his memories is his sister, Margaret M. Wooten and her husband Jerry, and a host of nieces and nephews.
