Henry Albert Sherlin

Henry Albert Sherlin, 74, of Lexington Health Care, formerly of Fairview Drive, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by preacher Clyde Akers. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. Mr. Sherlin was born Dec. 20, 1932, in Madison County to Henry Frank Sherlin and Lavada Brown Gady. He was a retired employee of Three Mountain Furniture Co., a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during the Korean Conflict, and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Gene Sherlin. Surviving are two sons, Ronnie Dean Sherlin of Marion and Edward Allen Sherlin of Skyland; two daughters, Margie Kim Munden and Josephine McCall, both of Asheville; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren;and a special friend, Tinker Keever. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
