Henry Roger Snider

Henry Roger Snider, born on March 31, 1940, in Davidson County, NC, peacefully passed away on November 14, 2023, in his hometown. He was the beloved son of Henry Amos Snider and Elizabeth Walser Snider.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 17th at 321 Helmstetler Road from 10am - 10pm.

Henry was a devoted husband to Martha Jane Sink Snider and a loving father to his sons Todd Snider (Susan) and Greg Snider (Wynn). He is survived by his brother David Snider (Sue). Henry leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for his four grandchildren: Bradley (girlfriend, Josie), Caroline (husband, Dillon), Caleb (wife, Mariah), and Kyle (girlfriend, Sarah), as well as his great-grandchild Shae. Additionally, he is remembered by his step-grandchildren Sean and Courtney, and step-great-grandchild Aria. His parents and a sister, Jane Young preceded him in death.

Henry found joy in the simple pleasures of life, with a passion for hunting, fishing, beekeeping, and woodworking. He thrived in the great outdoors and shared his appreciation for nature with those around him.

A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Henry served his country with honor. He dedicated his time and skills to Navis Global Finishing Materials, where he worked as a manager.

Henry's faith was a guiding light in his life, and he was an active member of St. Luke's Church. His kindness, generosity, and warm spirit will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love of family and friends, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be remembered.
