Henry Michael Sowers

Henry Michael Sowers passed away Friday April 22 2011 with family by his side at Hinkle Hospice Home. A graveside service will be held 4:00 pm Sunday April 24, 2011 at Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor John Woods officiating.The family will receive friends at 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Saturday April 23, 2011 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. Henry was born March 17, 1930 in Davidson County to John Michael Sowers and Beulah Evans Sowers. He loved his life as a farmer and was a member of Midway United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Pauline Craver. Surviving are his wife of 61 years Martha Maxine Gobble Sowers of the home. His son Johnny Michael Sowers and wife Dolly, his daughter; Sandra Sowers Robbins and husband Virgil all of Lexington. His sister; Virginia Hege of Winston Salem. His grandchildren; Jason Robbins, Allison Robbins, Aubrey Ramseur, his great grandchild Allie Ramseur.
