Henry Speas

Squire Henry Speas, 78, of W. 5th Street, died Saturday at his home after an illness of six months. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 1 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Davidson Funeral Home. Mr. Speas was born December 6, 1934 in Forsyth County to Squire Henry Speas and Lelia Deal Speas. He retired from Morrows Trucking. He is survived by his wife, Frankie Nations Speas, of the home; his son, Henry Speas and wife, Ann, of Lexington; his daughter, Doris Ann Huffman of Lexington; four step-sons, one step-daughter, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
