Herbert Druary

Herbert Reginald Drury, 88 of Swicegood Road died 9:20 am Tuesday April 24, 2007. He was born April 9, 1919 in Boston, Mass. to Herbert Frances Drury and Annie McGowen Drury. He retired as a supervisor from The United Stated Postal Service and later worked for Century 21 where he was a past member of the Million Dollar Club. Mr. Drury honorably served his country in the Army during WWII and received the Purple Heart. He was also a member of American Legion Post 0008. Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Winifred Reiswig Drury of the home. Two nieces, Denise Snow- Biggins and husband Trevor of Tyro and their children, Leah of California and Garrett of Tyro and Lori Jo Sharpe and husband Andy of Tyro and their son Travis of Okla. One sister, Eva Geiger and husband Larry of California. His Cat, Boots of the home. Other Nieces and Nephews include George Drury, Missy Drury and Hal Drury and his wife Judy. A memorial service will be Friday 7:00 pm April 27, 2007 at Higher Ground Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Roger Mills. Memorials may be directed to Higher Ground Baptist Church P.O.
