Herbert Franklin Wilson

Herbert Franklin (Buck) Wilson, age 80 of Primrose Drive, Lexington died Tuesday, May 18, 2010 in Lexington Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday in Lakeview Baptist Church with Rev. David Wooten and Rev. Charles Dickens officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME and other times at the home. Mr. Wilson was born September 21, 1929 in Davidson County to Willie Wilson and Fanny Muncus Wilson. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church and was retired from Frank IX and Sons. Preceding him in death, were two daughters, Shirley Killian and Deborah Killian. Surviving are his wife, Ruth Elizabeth Bevins Wilson of the home, a son, Vernon Hinkle and wife, Patra of Lexington; daughters, Rebecca Doolin, Sandra Thompson and husband, Buddy, Vicky Yates all of Lexington; 20 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, brothers, Raymond (Doc) Wilson, Herman (Chub) Wilson and Hobert (Pete) Wilson all of Lexington, and a sister, Sally Leonard of Lexington.
