Herman Eugene Jarvis

Herman Eugene Jarvis, 59, of Beard Avenue, died Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Leonard Road Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Hepler officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2013, at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Mr. Jarvis was born September 9, 1954, in Davidson County, to Cabble Herman Jarvis Jr. and Laura Byerly Jarvis. He was an equipment operator for the City of High Point. He was a faithful servant to the Lord, choir director, usher, trustee, played music and sang at his church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Legana “Jeannie” Hepler Jarvis. Surviving are his wife, Donna Martin Jarvis of the home; daughters, Laura Ann Everette of Winston-Salem; two loving stepchildren, Thomas Lee Folsom and wife Michelle and Dawn Renee Gaunce and husband Chris, all of Archdale; grandchildren, Dustin Everette, Kyndal Folsom, Jackson McDuffie, Kaidyn Folsom, Riley McDuffie, and Caleb Everette; and uncle, Paul Jarvis and wife, Ethel of Welcome.
