Herman Leonard

Mr. Herman Reid Leonard, age 75 of Welcome, NC died Tuesday, February 5, 2008. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 8 at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel conducted by Rev. Jack Nance and Rev. Clay Morgan with burial to follow in the Center United Methdoist Church Cemetery. Mr. Leonard was born May 2, 192 in Davidson County to Robert Lee Leonard, Sr. and Pearl Craver Leonad. He was a retired employee of Lucia, Inc and was later employed with Hamrick's of Winston-Salem. He was a member of Center United Methodist Church. He is survived by his sisters, Ruby Essick, Mrs. Lois (Grover) Weaver and Pauline Weaver all of Welcome and brothers Boyd Leonard and wife Dorothy, Dean Leonard and wife Phyllis all of Lexington, and Jack Leonard and wife Gaynell of Welcome. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel and at other times will be at the residence of Ruby Essick. Memorials may be made to Kate B.
