Hilda Hill Austin

Hilda Mae Hill Austin 78 of Green Meadows Drive, Lexington died Thursday October 15, 2009 at her home. A Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Davidson Funeral home Chapel conducted by Chaplain John Smith and burial to follow at Pilgrim Reformed Church Cemetery.   Ms. Austin was born in Davidson County July 27, 1931 to John Hill and Geneva Tysinger Hill. She worked in the Finishing Room at Lexington Furniture. Her husband, Melvin Austin daughter, Katherine Barney and brothers James and Paul and sister Betty all preceded her in death.   Surviving are her companion, Robert Eugene Marion of the home, one son, Melvin (Toby) Austin of Lexington: daughters Melva Dianne Bragg and companion Wayne and Myra Leonard and husband Larry all of Lexington. Her sisters, Alice, Dorothy, Brenda and Minnie Belle. 11 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren also survive and a daughter in law, Carolyn Shaw. She is also survived by her beloved canine, Prissy.   The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Sunday prior to the funeral service and at other times they will be at the home     Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
