Hilda Thomason Penninger

Hilda Thomason Penninger, age 74 of Yountz Road, Lexington passed away Sunday night September 18, 2016 at Thomasville Medical Center. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, September 23, 2016 at New Friendship United Church of Christ where she was a member with Rev. Alex Nance officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 until 3:00 and at other times at home of brother, Johnny Ray Thomason, 600 Yountz Road, Lexington. Hilda was born in Davidson County, March 20, 1942 to Ida Lee Thomason. She was raised by her mother and step-father, Ida and Everette Lindsay Younts who preceded her in death. She was a former employee of Siceloff Manufacturing and a former employee of PPG. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Lindsay Turner Younts. Surviving are her husband, Terry W. Penninger, Sr. of the home; son, Wayne Penninger and wife Peggy of Lexington; 2 grandchildren, Austin and Alexis Penninger; sister, Ruth Elizabeth Holder (Martin) of Lexington; brother, Johnny Ray Thomason (Sally) of Lexington.
