Hoi Nguyen Parsons, 77, of Davidson County, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Hinkle Hospice House.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington.
Hoi was born on July 20, 1949, in Vietnam and moved to the United States in the 1970’s. She worked at Lexington Furniture before her retirement and formed lifelong relationships with many people she met along the way.
She is remembered for the love she had for shopping, bingo, and gardening vegetables which she used to make her delicious meals. Her love language was preparing food for those she loved, and Hoi was lovingly known for making the best eggrolls.
Hoi’s pride and joy was her family, and her grandchildren were the apples of her eye. The love she had for them was immense and will be felt throughout each of their lives.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Parsons; stepsons, Jimmy and David Parsons; and good friend, Jacob May.
Left to carry her light are her daughters, Brinda Parsons, and Lynn Murphy (Marc); stepdaughter, Linda Brummett; grandchildren, Andrew Murphy, Jake May, Emerson May, and Kaden Murphy; special friends, Forrest Moore and Mary Johnson; and many other close friends.
Along with flowers, donations may be made to Alderwood Hospice (Hospice of Davidson County), 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
