Holland Foyle Swing

Holland Foyle Swing, 88, of Marion Drive, died Friday, July 3, 2009, at Hinkle Hospice Home. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at Forest Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Bobby Bonds officiating. Mr. Swing was born August 3, 1919, in Davidson County, to Robert Cleveland Swing and Mattie Fritts Swing. He was a retired welder and a member of Grace Missionary Alliance Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Byrd Swing, who died August 31, 2006; brothers, Milton Swing and Douglas Swing; and sisters, Arlene Boyd and Bobbie Everhart. Surviving are brother, Forrest Swing of Lexington; brother-in-law, Earl Everhart of Williamstown, Vt.; nephews, Milton Swing Jr. and Ricky Swing; and niece Tonya Rennich. There will be no formal visitation. Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is serving the family.
