Hollis Lanning Papale

Hollis Marie Lanning Papale, 46, of Clemmons went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Lexington with the Revs. Dave Kelley and Mitch Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Hollis will lie in state from 12 pm until 1 pm prior to the service at Shiloh. The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Life Center.

Hollis was born in Wake County on May 17, 1975, to Hoy Samuel Lanning, Sr. and Kathy Perkins Lanning. She was an HR Representative at Lowes and was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. Hollis had such a loving spirit and a giving heart; her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Mary Clay Perkins and Hollis and Mildred Lanning.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Adam Papale of the home; her children,  Abbie and Jacob Papale; her sister, Jamye Duncan (Hunter) of Mocksville; her niece, Katherine Hollis Duncan; her nephew, Cameron Duncan; and a host of other extended family members.
