Donnie Myers Jr.

Hollis Donald “Donnie” Myers, Jr., 66, passed away on Friday, Feb. 27th, 2026 in his home peacefully.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Journey Church of Lexington on Thursday, March 5th at 2:00pm with Rev. Mark Rachels and Rev. Randy Foster officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service at the Church.

Donnie was born in Davidson county on October 2, 1959 to Hollis Don Myers and Judy Alexander Myers. Donnie was Vice President of Myers Tool and Machine where he worked along with his brother, Eric, and his mother, Judy. He was also the owner of Wennonah Mills Emporium. He had a love for antiques all his life and started Myers Antiques many years ago. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the 696 Memorial Lodge. He proudly attended Journey Church of Lexington and was known for a generous spirit and a compassionate heart. Donnie enjoyed spending time at his mountain home with family, friends and his sweet dog, Ellie. He was preceded in death by his father, Don Myers.

Surviving are his fiancé, Melody Murphy of High Point, one son, Hollis Donald “Tripp” Myers III and his wife Jenna Pruitt Myers of Lexington, one daughter, Catherine Abbey Ellison and husband John of Saint Johns, Florida, one brother Eric Alexander Myers and wife Pam of Lexington, one grandson, Jacob Owen Alexander Ellison, a niece, Hannah Raye Adams and husband, Travis, a nephew, Noah Alexander Myers and wife Paxton, and two great nephews, Winston and Waylon Adams. He is also survived by his sweet furbaby, Ellie.
