Homer J. Berrier, age 92 or Becky Hill Road, Lexington passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Lexington Medical Center. A graveside service will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, November 12th, 2016 at Shiloh United Methodist Church with Pastor David Kelley officiating. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday night. Homer was born in Davidson County, December 26, 1923 to Artis Joyce Berrier and Mary Lou Kepley Berrier. He was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and was a self- employed heavy equipment operator. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sudie Mae Leonard Berrier; brothers, Howard, R.J., Harold and John Berrier; great - grandson, Jesse Berrier. Surviving are his daughters, Joyce Mae Essick (Craig) and Betty Jean Hester (David) both of Lexington; son, Paul Grady Berrier (Janie); grandchildren, James Berrier (Anita), Michelle Young (Craig), Brad Essick (RuthAnn) and Tracy Beck (Sammie); great-grandchildren, Brittany Barnes (Ben), Brandon Berrier, Spencer Young, Eric Young (Laura), Jackson Tarleton, Riley Essick, Cassidy Craver, Hunter Beck and Colton Hedrick; great-great grandchild, Rhett Young; brother in-law, Elmer Leonard, and sister in-law, Gracie Shepherd (Roy).
