Homer Ray Weaver

Homer Ray Weaver age 71, of Old Mill Farm Road, passed away Friday May 29, 2009 at Lexington Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with Rev. T.W. Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Weaver was born October 24, 1937 in Davidson County to Henry Weaver and Lizzie James Weaver who preceded him in death. He was retired with Linwood Furniture and was member of Good Hope United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife Betty Walser Weaver of the home. A son; Tony Ray Weaver and Tereasa of Lexington, A daughter; Vicki Lanier and husband Marty of Lexington. Brothers; Tommy Weaver and wife Carolyn and H. C. Weaver and wife Evedean all of Lexington. Sister; Ruby Goforth of Lexington. Five grandchildren; Krystle Long, Sarah Weaver, Josh Lanier, Justin lanier, Jenna Lanier. Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel other times at the home on Old Mill Farm Road. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is serving the family.
