Howard Andrew Beck

Howard Andrew Beck age 87 passed away early Wednesday morning, March 13, 2013 at his home. A graveside service with military honors will be held 11:00 am Friday, March 15, 2013 at Hebron United Church of Christ with Rev. Wayne Linville officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Howard was born August 9, 1925 in Davidson County to Irvin Lee Beck and Mabel Miller Beck. He was a member of Hebron United Church of Christ and had served in the United States Army. He retired from Wake Forest University. He was preceded in death by his parents, his infant daughters; Donna Jo Beck, Sara Ann Beck, his sister; Mildred Johnson, his brother; Paul Beck. Surviving are his wife Violet Kepley Beck of the Home, his daughter; SuEllen Puckett and husband Don of Midway, his granchildren; Michael Puckett and wife Kendra, Stephen Puckett and wife Tara, his great-grandchildren; Brady and Lane. his brothers; Charles Beck and wife Jo of Florida, Wayne Beck and wife Sharon of Midway, his sister; Jean Largen of Midway. The family would like memorials directed to Hebron United Church of Christ Cemetery Fund 129 Hebron Church Rd.
