Howard Capeton

Howard Eugene Caperton, age 81 of Centerclair Nursing Home passed away Sunday (9-14-2008) at the nursing home. A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Friday (9-19-2008) at Centerclair Nursing Home with Rev. Clyde Akers officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date. Howard was born March 28, 1927 to Henry Caperton and Estel May Caperton. He was a retired Chauffeur for Koss Electronics and a veteran of the US Army having served in World War II. Surviving are: three sons, Kenneth Caperton of Detroit, MI, Dennis Caperton of Commerce Township, MI and Michael Caperton of Montrose, CO, two daughters; Wendy Vance of Hillsville, VA and Tammy Ramos of Wyandotte, MI, nine grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, three brothers; Raymond, Richard and Patrick Caperton, two sisters; Martha Stevens and Loretta Cline.
