Howard Terry Sellers

Howard Terry Sellers, 70, of Spanish Oak Drive, passed away Monday morning, May 5, 2008, at his home after a number of years of declining health. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel by the Rev. Ken Harris. Mr. Sellers was born in Greenville, S.C., to Howard Thurman and Edna Case Sellers on April 30, 1938. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Judith Parham. He was retired from Pilot Freight Carriers. He was also owner-operator of Lynn's Tobacco Shop in Welcome. Surviving are a son, Paul Andrew Sellers and his wife, Janine, of Jupiter, Fla.; three daughters, Donna Thompson and her husband, Joe, of Welcome, Lynette "Lynn" Comer and her husband, Kent, of Winston-Salem and Angela "Angie" Tullock and her husband, Jimmy Jr., of Lexington; a sister, Carole Walker and her husband, Melvin, of Catawba, S.C.; Lucille Smith Sellers, loving ex-wife; eight grandchildren, Jordan Sellers, Jessica Blackmon, Katelyn Hodgin, Tyler Comer, Luke Sellers, Issac Sellers, Caleb Sellers and Rachael Tullock; three step-grandchildren, Karie Thompson, Nick Tullock, Kelli Tullock; and two great-grandchildren, Corey (Hodgin) Blackmon and Brooke Blackmon. Visitation will be held Friday one hour before the memorial service. Memorials may be directed to the Forsyth Regional Cancer Center, Radiology - Oncology, 3333 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is serving the family.
