Hubert Ray Dull, Jr.

Hubert Ray Dull, Jr., 59, of Burkeview Court, died Saturday, September 1, 2018, at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with Pastor Georgianne Hartline officiating the service. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends 6:00pm to 8:00pm Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel.

Mr. Dull was born October 16, 1958, Forsyth County to Hubert Ray Dull Sr. and Eunice Eugenia Shore Dull. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, where he was also a member of the Men’s club at the church. Ray enjoyed playing soccer and was a coach for the ArcadiaYouth Soccer League for many years. Mr. Dull was employed with Tyco for 20 plus years where he was an Electronics Maintenance Tech. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Stephen Dull.

Surviving are his wife Cheryl Dull, of the home; one son, Jordan Dull (Katharine) of Charlotte; one daughter, Sarah Dull of Lexington; four sisters, Anne Baird (Pete) of Michigan, Betsy Reagan (Ron) of Winston-Salem, Jane McCready (Stu) of Fort Mill, SC and Lucy Donadio of Clemmons; three grandchildren, William Dull, Cora Dull and soon to be Hugh Dull; many nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Lexington Family Physicians, Dr. Ed Hill, The Life Center of Davidson County, Hospice of Davidson County and care-givers, Betty Hardin and Sadie Bailey for the excellent care given during Ray’s illness.
