Hubert Lester

Hubert Lester, 70, of Lindel Ct., Lexington died Sunday, July 27, 2014 in High Point Regional Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, July31, 2014, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brian Rummage officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home. Mr. Lester was born February 28, 1944 in Wyoming County, WV to Bryan Lester and Reba Ann Lester.  He was a Policeman with Cleveland PD, a member of Faternal order of the Police, Lions Club, Masonic Lodge and Shriners.  Hubert was of the Baptist faith.Preceding him in death was his parents, and two brothers, Freddy Lester and Danny Lester. Surviving are his wife, Juanita Hazelrigg Lester of the home; four daugthters, Melissa Helmstetler, DeAnne Kirk, Rebecca Tysinger (Eugene), Laura Yarbrough (Sandy) all of Lexington; eight grandchildren, Matt Helmstetler, Cole Tysinger, Jake Helmstetler, Megan Tysinger, Chris Kirk, Kaitlyn Tysinger, Savannah Kirk, Zeke Tysinger; and a sister, Linda Denton (David) of Myrtle Beach, SC  Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association, 101 Centreport Dr., Greensboro, NC 27409.
