Hugh Allen

Hugh William Allen 72 of Goat Pasture Road, Lexington passed away Saturday July 19, 2014 at his home. A service to celebrate his life will be 4:00 pm Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. David Kolb and Rhonda Davis. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:30 until 4pm and at other times at the home. Mr. Allen was born May 3, 1942 in Yadkin County to Charlie Glenn Allen and Creola Parker Allen. He was retired from Circle R Trenching Company and proudly served his country in The US Army in Korea in the Military Police. His parents preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death are brothers: Eugene, Clinton and James Allen and sisters: Maxie Strange, Faye Sensabaugh and Jettie West. Surviving are his wife, Debbie Jones Allen of the home; his son, Christopher William Allen (Kassie) and his daughter, Sharon Lynn Allen; his Grandchildren, Morgan Hutchinson, Isabella Allen, Portland Allen, Berkeley Allen, Sailor Allen and Zackary Allen his brothers, Ben Allen (Sarah) of Madison Florida, Dan Allen (Ann) of Lexington and Norris Allen (Irene) of Statesville; sisters, Margaret Allen of Statesville and Judy Allen Pardue (Don) of Harmony; his very special friends, Don and Susan Daughety and their family; many loving nieces and nephews.
