Ida Honeycutt Crawford, age 80, of Hampton Street, Lexington passed away Saturday night
(2-19-2011) at Hinkle Hospice House. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday
(Feb. 23, 2011) in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Messer officiating. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday night and at other times at the home on Hampton Street.
Ida was born in Davidson County, February 8, 1931, to Marshall Ceaford Honeycutt and Rosa Viola Beck Honeycutt. She was a retired employee of Binning’s Building Products. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Betty H. Franklin.
Surviving are; one daughter, Loretta C. Hayes and husband Darian, Sr. of Lexington; one son, Rickie L. Crawford and wife Karen of Lexington; four grandchildren, Kristy Younts, Lacey and Dalton Crawford and Darian Hayes, Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Katie Hayes and Kaden Younts; a sister Peggy Honeycutt Alford and husband Donald of Thomasville.
