Inez Roberts Stanley

Inez Mary Roberts Stanley, 84, of Lexington Health Care, died Saturday, November 2, at the nursing facility after an extended illness. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 5, at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. James Shetley. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home of her son on Broad Street. Mrs. Stanley was born December 23, 1928 in Cocke County, TN, to Cleo and Katherine Presnell Jones. She retired from Dixie Furniture Co. and was of the Free Will Baptist faith. Her daughter, Addie Sexton Oakes, preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, Sherman Sexton and wife, Brenda, and Alfred Sexton and wife, Felicia, both of Lexington; her daughter, Doshia Miller and husband, Jack, of Tennessee; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchildren.
