Irene Browning Yarbrough

Irene Ellie Browning Yarbrough, 93, a resident of Lexington, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023 at her residence. Irene was born in Monroe, Georgia to the late John Henry and Annie Robertson Browning on April 8, 1929. She retired from Lexington Furniture Industries where she was an inspector. Irene was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and friend. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Aaron Yarbrough; and two sisters, Mildred Floyd and Judy Burkhart.

There will be a funeral service held on Monday, February 20, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington. Interment will follow the service in Lexington City Cemetery. The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

Irene is survived by her children, Pat Everhart of the home and George Yarbrough of Garden City, SC; two grandchildren, Collin Yarbrough (Ginger) and Karen Brown (Paul); great-grandchildren, Donavan and Lennon Yarbrough, and Porter and Isla Bown.
