Irven Everette Hege, Jr

Irven Everett Hege Jr., 73, of Anderson, S.C., formerly of Lexington, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, at Hospice of the Upstate in Anderson, S.C. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Forest Hill Memorial Park by the Rev. Sam Harvey. Mr. Hege was born in Davidson County to Irven Everett Hege Sr. and Catherine Wiles Hege. He was retired from Metal Bed Rail. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gracie Lee Hill Hege, who died Oct. 27, 2002. Surviving are his daughter, Linda Hege Myers and her husband, Roy, of Williamson, S.C.; a stepson, Gene Marion and his wife, Hilda, of Lexington; a grandson, Irven "Tooter" Everett Myers of South Carolina; four brothers, Henry Hege and his wife, Sharon, of Lexington, Raymond Hege and his wife, Edith, of Asheboro, Earl Hege and his wife, Teresa, of Asheboro, and Cecil Hege and his wife, Vanessa, of Winston-Salem; and four sisters, Lillie Wilson of Richfield, Nellie Forest and her husband, Bill, of Lexington, and Hattie Cummings and her husband, Dave, and Doris Wilson, all of Linwood. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson S.C. 29621.
