Isabelle King Trimpey

Isabelle Lillian King Trimpey, 77, of Lexington passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington with Rev. Doug Rowe officiating.  The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.

Isabelle was born in Allegheny County, PA on April 29, 1941 to Charles Leroy King and Florence Edna Bowen King.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lexington.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everett Dale Trimpey; brother, Chuck King and two infant brothers; and sisters, Ruth Stearns and Betty Cardenas.

Surviving are sons, Everett Trimpey, Jr. of Lexington and Daniel Trimpey (Dayna) of Fuquay-Varina, NC; daughter, Sandy Briggs (Von) of Lexington; brother, Jack King of Washington, DC; sisters, Lucille Faust of Florida and Doris King of Pennsylvania; 6 grandchildren; Jason Briggs, Christina Swing (Micky), Kevin Trimpey, Dietrich Trimpey, Isaiah Trimpey, Kayleigh Trimpey and 1 great-grandchild, Atreyu Swing.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
