Iva Taylor Craven, 93, formerly of N. State Street, Lexington, died Sunday in Raleigh.
The funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, April 2, from the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. June Grubb. Burial will follow in the Lexington City Cemetery.
Mrs. Craven was born September 1, 1914 in Lexington to Jacob Zeb Taylor and Maggie Yarborough Taylor. She was a member of First Reformed United Church of Christ and retired from Belk-Martin Co., after 30 years of service. Her Husband, John Quinn Craven, preceded her in death in 1984.
She is survived by her son, Carlyle Craven, and his wife, Ruth, of Raleigh; her grandson, Andrew Craven, and his wife, Alaina; and two great grandchildren: Alexandra Craven and James Craven.
The family will receive friend one hour prior to the service at Davidson Funeral Home.
