Iva Lee Phillips

Iva Lee Phillips, 88, of Genesis Health Care, Salisbury, and formerly of Lexington, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007, at Genesis Health Care. There will be no formal funeral or visitation. However, burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Phillips was born Oct. 25, 1918, in Ashe County to Claude Phillips and Nora Gentry Phillips. She was a member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Roy, Cecil, Fred and Jasper Phillips; and a sister, Flaval Church. Surviving are two nieces, Jessie Church Morris of The Villages, Fla., and Joyce Church Maready of Lexington.
