Jack is survived by a sister, Margaret Hage (Channel) of Florida; and brothers, Robert Cockerham (Jane) of Sanford and Fred Cockerham (Pamela) of Reidsville; sister in laws, Patricia Cockerham of Lexington, Dora Cockerham of Holden Beach, and Doris Cockerham of Greensboro; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
The family would like to send a warm thank you to all the staff at Piedmont Crossings for the outstanding love and care given to Jack during his years of stay there. Nurse Victoria was with Jack when he passed and she will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Your kindness, understanding, and love for Jack or “Pops” as you called him will always be so appreciated. You were there to greet us when we arrived. You understood our loss, our pain, and our grief. You went out of your way to be by our side, answer our many questions, and hold us. You were Jack’s angel on Earth. We thank you.
