Jack Sinco ( J.C.) Temple Jr. age 82 of Lexington Health Care passed away Saturday August 29, 2015.
A Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday September 1, 2015 at Victory Baptist Church on Hwy 47 conducted by Revs. Jeff Mabe and Tommy Hepler. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home of his daughter, Diane on Valleyview Drive Lexington.
J. C. was born June 2, 1933 in Davidson County to Jack Sinco Temple and Ruby Hicks Temple. He was a retired Truck Driver with Binning’s and later with Salem Leasing Company. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School. He previously served as Choir Director at Leonard Road Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Hazel Ann Everhart Temple, son-in-law, Richard Franks and brothers, Bobby, Albert and Charlie Temple and a sister, Becky Hedrick.
Surviving are daughters: Carolyn Franks, Roxann Carter and husband Evangelist Phillip Carter and Diane Vanhoy (Bobby) all of Lexington. 7 grandchildren, 22 great- grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; brother, William Temple (Brenda), sisters, Peggy Bates (Don), Jenny Shaw (Robin) all of Lexington, Daisy Briggs of Clemmons and Kathy Knox (Ray) of Tennessee.
