Jack Edward Latham, age 77 of West US Old Highway 64, Lexington passed away Wednesday night February 22, 2017 at the home of his daughter in Greer, SC. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Bethesda United Methodist Church with Rev. Daniel Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda United Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Saturday night. Jack was born in Davidson County August 24, 1940 to Harvey Lee Latham and Sadie Lenora Latham. He was a retired carpenter, member of Union Local 312 and a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. He loved classic cars and car shows. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Irene Barnes, Mildred Hart, Lila Barnes, Jean Rummage and Martha Leonard; brothers, Foy, Willard, Austin and Wade Latham. Surviving are his daughters; Jackie Latham Hansard (Blake) of Greer, SC, Lori Latham McNeair of Winston Salem and Amy Cline of Lexington; grandchildren, Joshua Burk, Kymberli Hansard, Kaitlyn Hansard, Deasya Latham and Hayley Roach;great-grandchildren, Neal Hubbard, Alex Latham and Kezia Hansard; sisters, Kathleen Michael of Fayetteville; Lucille Queen of West Virginia.
