Jack Allen Maupin

Jack Maupin, 84, of Goldenrod Lane, died Sunday, January 19, 2020 at his home with family by his side.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11: am Monday, February 3, 2020 at Salisbury National Cemetery with military honors.

Mr. Maupin was born March 29, 1935 in Weirton, WV to George Robert Maupin and Ruby Mae McCracken Maupin.  He served in the United States Army and was retired as manager of Sears in Akron, OH.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Maupin; sisters, Ruby Kavula, Evelyn Carpenter and Carol Maupin.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Kay Ruggles Maupin, of the home; daughter, Krista Szalay (David); sister, Betty Carpenter; 2 grandchildren, Matt Szalay and Alex Szalay (Kayla); and 1 great-granddaughter, Nora Szalay.
