Jack Sealey Owens

Jack Sealey Owens, 59, of South State Street, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2006, at his home. A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Heavenly Sunlight Baptist Church by the Rev. Allan Smith. Mr. Owens was born Oct. 22, 1946, in Virginia to William Owens and Grace Sealey Owens. He was a member of Goldfloss Baptist Church in Winston-Salem and was a former employee of Stanley Furniture in Lexington. Surviving are one brother, Ernest Odum and his wife, Peggy, of Lexington; one aunt, Dottie Brow of Winston-Salem; and three uncles, Grady Sealey, Jim Sealey and Milton Sealey, all of Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends at the home of his brother, 52 Trailer Drive. Memorials may be directed to Heavenly Sunlight Baptist Church, c/o Dale Taylor, 61 Camper Lane, Lexington N.C. 27292.
