Jack Andrew Yarbrough

Jack Andrew Yarbrough, 79, of Davidson County, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at Forest Hill Memorial Park Chapel, with Rev. Eric Disher officiating.

Jack was born on November 15, 1943, in Davidson County, to the late Purcell Yarbrough and Maxine Howell Yarbrough. He served his country in the Air Force and later worked in finance for the government of Davidson County. Jack attended Remade Community Church. He was known to be an avid golfer and had a passion for the sport. His family, however, was his greatest joy. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Patricia Beck Yarbrough; a brother, Horace Yarbrough; and a sister, Becky Stevenson.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Madara Shillinglaw and husband Jeremy, of the home; son Kevin Yarbrough, of the home; brother, Clegg Yarbrough and wife Martha, of Lexington; sisters, Dorcas Biesecker, of Lexington, Brenda Hartley, of Lexington, Ruth Perrell and husband Johnny, of Arizona, and Virginia Podgasky and husband Robert, of Lexington; and two grandchildren, Matthew and Sarah Shillinglaw.
