Jack Young

Jack Lloyd Young, 89, of John Young Road, died Tuesday, April 4 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.    A funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Revs. Brian Alexander and Lamar Moore.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.    The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 am Saturday prior to the funeral service.    Mr. Young was born July 12, 1927 in Davidson County to John Young and Martha Alice Beck  Young.  He served in the US Marines Corp and retired from Councill Craftmen.  He was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church and preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.    He is survived by his wife, Alva Hege Young of the home; his daughters, Jodi Beeson of Lexington and Karen Ann Hill of Mt. Airy; his brother, Joe Bill Young of Lexington; his grandchildren, Christopher Lee Beeson, Jennica Beeson Hunt, Curtis Lane Beeson, Jr., and Johnny Dwyane Hill; and his great grandchildren, Briar Ellis Hunt, Sophia Nicole Beeson, Curtis Lennon Beeson, and Renly Jack Beeson.
