Jackie Clodfelter

November 24, 1941 — April 16, 2024

Jackie Dean Clodfelter, 82, of West Center Street Ext., died Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at his home in Lexington.
A graveside service to celebrate his life will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Ebenezer Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ray Morgan officiating. There will be no public visitation.

Mr. Clodfelter was born November 24, 1941, in Davidson County, to Worth Clodfelter and Vada Reece Clodfelter. He retired from Piedmont Candy Factory as a candy maker.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Shoaf Clodfelter who died March 20, 2014, son, Mike Clodfelter, and grandson, John William (JW) Sidden.


Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Lisa Shelton and husband Philip of Willow Springs, NC, Karen Harrington and husband, Chris, of Winston Salem, stepdaughter, Amanda Parris and husband Michael of Lexington, stepson, Tim Sidden and wife Debbie of Lexington, sister, Evelyn Smith and husband Danny of Archdale, and sister-in-law, Brenda Bryant of Lexington. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to his beloved neighbors, and all of his care providers, including Dr. Ted Nifong, Davidson County EMS, and West Lexington Fire Department.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Davidson County Department of Senior Services In-Home Services Program, 555 B West Center Street Ext., Lexington, NC 27295.
