Jackson Gray Wagner

Jackson Gray Wagner, age 83, of Arrowhead Drive, Lexington passed away Saturday morning February 18, 2012 at his home.  Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday February 21, 2012 in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:00 Tuesday prior to the service.   Jackson was born in Forsyth County, June 8, 1928 to Edwin Ellis Wagner and Evelyn Darlington Wagner.  He was a retired employee of Western Electric with 42 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents.   Mr. Wagner is survived by his wife of 63 years, Charlotte Foust Wagner, of the home; three daughters, Donna W. Smith and husband Ray, June Wagner Covington and husband Al and Kathy D. Wagner; five grandchildren, Raymond Smith and wife Ashley, Jon Smith and wife Ashleigh, Angela Denny and husband Wes, Carl Covington and Mark Covington; four great-grandchildren, Catherine Denny, Harrison Denny, Carleigh Smith and Bethany Smith.   In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 4A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407; American Heart Association, PO Box 5216, Glen-Allen VA 23058-5216 or to donor’s choice.     Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
