Jacob Norman Rogers

Jacob Norman Rogers, 26, died unexpectedly Saturday, September 5, 2026, at his home.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Davidson Funeral Chapel, Hickory Tree, with Pastor Don Clement officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

He was born on February 20, 2000, in Forsyth County, to James Kevin Rogers and Stephanie Dee Herndon.

Jacob was very creative, artistic, and loved drawing. He loved building things, welding, and paid attention to the smallest of details in his work. Jacob loved cars and dreamed of rebuilding a car with his dad, whom he loved so much. He and his dad were inseparable.

Jacob was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Diane Peebles and Norman Leonard; and an aunt, Cheryl Leonard.

Survivors include his father, James Kevin Rogers (Shirley); mother, Stephanie Dee Herndon (Alan); and two step-brothers, Nolan and Kaleb.
