Jacqueline "Jackye" Weaver Sink

Jacqueline “Jackye” Weaver Sink, age 86 of Ridge Road, Lexington passed away Friday morning at Abbotts Creek Care and Rehabilitation. Funeral service will be held 4:00 pm Sunday at Pilgrim Lutheran Church with Rev. Craig D. Saltzer officiating. Burial will follow in Pilgrim Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 3 to 4 pm prior to the service. Jackye was born in Davidson County June 15, 1927 to Meechum Wardie and Hattie Catherine Leonard Weaver. She was a graduate of Ashemore Business College; a retired employee of Baptist Children’s Home and a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by seven sisters, Marie Moseley, Geraldine Craver, Eunice Hampton, Iola Marshall, Ruby Comer, Hilda Canady and Dorothy Sink. She is survived by her husband of 66 years; Donald Bryce Sink of the home; daughter, Jacqueline Patricia (Pat) Essick (John Wayne) of Lexington; son, Donald (Mike) Sink (Betty Ann) of Lexington; grandson, Jonathan Andrew Sink (Nannette); great-grandchildren, Jacob, Noah and Abigail Essick all of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
