Jacqueline Louise Morris James, 55 of 1242 Riverview Blvd died Friday, May 30, 2008 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 3 at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel. Mrs. James was born on February 18, 1953 in Davidson County to James Neilson Morris, Sr. and Mabel Hunter Morris. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her mother. Surviving are her husband Daniel Edward James of the home, a son Christopher James and wife Christina, a daughter Crystal James and her father James Neilson Morris, Sr. all of Lexington; seven grandchildren: Christopher Broadley, John Broadley, Aaron Democker, Jessica Story, Jessyka James, Mark James, Leanne Cone and Brandi Shaw; several nieces and nephews: brothers Tony Morris of Thomasville and James (Buster) Morris of Lexington; sisters Carol Hoffman and husband Terry of Jacksonville, NC and Tricia Charles and husband Jerry of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:30 pm Tuesday before the service and other times at the home.
