Mrs. Jacqueline Kay Luffman Mays, 64, died Monday, October 11, 2026, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.
A funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Davidson Funeral Chapel, Lexington. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
She was born on July 8, 1962, in Forsyth County, to the late Carlton Ray Luffman and Wanda Marie Minton Luffman.
Mrs. Mays was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and loved watching NFL football games.
Survivors include her husband, John Mays; her children, Tamara Greenwood (Nicholas), Kacay Blanchard, and William James Mays; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Debbie Moore (Greg) and Carla Luffman; and her beloved companion Bell.
