James Joseph Aldridge, age 59 of Lexington, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at his home.
A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 7 th in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, Lexington, NC with Pastor Jack Hurley officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm before the service.
James was born on October 28, 1961 in Davidson County to Lawrence Cecil Aldridge and Mary Ola Reaves Aldridge. He served in the United States Army and then went on to work and retired from Norfolk Southern Railway. James was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Connie Aldridge, and granddaughter, Shainn Creech.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Linda Aldridge, of the home; sons, Michael Aldridge, Joseph Aldridge, Brandon Aldridge and Garland Cook, Jr., all of Lexington; daughters, Sherri Troutman and Angie Essick; brothers, Randy Aldridge (Pat) and Tim Aldridge (Linda); 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
