James Franklin ( Andy ) Andrew Jr.

James Franklin (Andy) Andrew Jr., 75, died Friday July 22, 2022, at his home in Raleigh. Andy was born October 7, 1946, in Lexington, NC to James (Jim) Andrew and Elaine Andrew. He graduated from Lexington High School. Upon graduation he attended the Air Force Academy and then NC State University. After living in Greensboro, he settled in Elkin, NC. Andy is survived by two sons, Michael Andrew and wife Teree of Charlotte, Joseph Andrew and wife Candice of Morrisville, five grandchildren, Branson, Lachlan, Emerson, Rowan and Liam. Also surviving are his sister, Martha Amundsen and husband Jim of Conway, SC, partner, Jean Rodgers of Durham, and former wife, Suzie Andres of Huntersville. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Melanie Ann

A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday August 23, 2022, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington. The service will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/davidson.funeralhome
