James Warren Britt

James Britt, age 62 of Winston-Salem passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at his home.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 pm Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel, Winston-Salem, NC. Family will receive friends from 1 pm until 2 pm prior to the service.

James was born November 1, 1959 in Columbus County to Willis James Britt and Mary Hilbourn Britt. He served in the US Army and worked at Rud Fleet of High Point, NC. James is preceded in death by his father. James was a man who took great pride in his wife, sons, basset hounds and job. He loved deeply and was always willing to drop his own interests for the needs of others.  Whether it was remodeling both of his sons' houses or driving to his mother’s house to deal with a black snake, he was happy to be there for those he loved most.

Surviving are his mother; wife Karen Fitzgibbons Britt of the home, sons, Sterling Greene (Heather) and Cameron Britt (Jessica) and brother, Robbie Britt (Charlotte).
