James Harold Browning

James Harold Browning, age 65 of Brown Street, Lexington passed away at his home Saturday morning August 29, 2015. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday September 2, 2015 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bud Powell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the service. James was born in Cabarrus County, NC October 8, 1949 to John Harold and Myrtle Tucker Browning. He was a retired truck driver and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Surratt Browning of the home; daughter, Debra Browning of Lexington; sons, Eric and Steven Browning of Lexington and Chad Browning of Charlotte; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Kathy Huff of Linwood.
